Frequently Asked Questions

The first step is to register for the course at https://cactuscancersociety.mykajabi.com/offers/XEjoVHmo.  When you register, you'll be directed to create a password.  After creating a password, you will automatically be logged into the program.

Please make sure to register with your full name.  If your last name is not provided, it will not be listed on your CE certificate.

At the time of registration and password creation, you'll receive an email titled "Purchase confirmation for 'The Full Picture of AYA Cancer.'"  This email will allow you to log in with your email and password going forward.

You can also access the course by visiting cactuscancersociety.mykajabi.com and entering your login information and password.

If you need to reset your password, click on "Forgot password" at the bottom of the login screen.

This on-demand continuing education course is brought to you by Cactus Cancer Society and The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.  It is moderated by Anne Katz, PhD, RN, FAAN, and a group of expert guests.

The course covers six topics:

• Why AYAs are Unique
• Sexuality and Contraception for AYAs
• Fertility Preservation for AYAs
• AYA Survivorship Care and Survivorship Care Plans (SCPs)
• The Emotional Impact of Cancer on AYAs
• Resources for AYAs with Cancer

Once you register and log in to the course, you will see all six lessons along with an additional introduction video.  Click on the image of each lesson to begin watching the video.

At the completion of each video lesson, participants will be tested on the material covered.  Each post-test is pictured below the corresponding lesson.  You must watch the entire lesson before taking the post-test.  You can click on the image of each post-test to receive access after watching the corresponding lesson.

Each post-tests consists of 10-15 multiple choice questions.  You must receive 80% or higher on each post-test to pass the course and receive continuing education credits.  You can take each post-test as many times as you require to receive 80% or above.  Once you receive 80% or above, you will be able to mark that section as complete.

On your course homepage, you will see a section that tells you how many of the 14 tasks you have completed.  To complete the entire course, you must complete the introduction video, the six video lessons, the six post-tests with a score of 80% or higher, and the course evaluation.

CE credits are available for social workers.  To be eligible for CE credits, you must complete the entire course, including the introduction video, the six video lessons, the six post-tests with a score of 80% or higher, and the course evaluation.

Once you have completed the course, a certificate of completion will be emailed to you at the email address used for registration.  Keep this email in a safe place, as you will only receive one email. 

For Social Workers

The program is approved by the National Association of Social Workers (Approval #886838662-8356) for 9 continuing education contact hours for social workers.

Please be aware, the following states do not accept National CE Approval Programs: New Jersey, New York, and West Virginia.
